Re: Logo

I like the link between the Standards' new front cover's color and the logo's new coloration. The cover's blue background will stand out from the common, boring-white, letter-sized books. I just realized how easy the chosen size will be to copy. How and who will manage the copyright authorizations o...

Re: Cover of Standards book

Sources of Endorsement Blurbs for Back Cover: Gordon Bock, previous editor of OHJ Demetra Aposporos, present editor of OHJ Thomas Baker, Technical Editor of This Old House: I have a relationship with him from Speedheater issues. Very open to input. Tom O'Brien, writer for Journal of Light Constructi...

Re: Cover of Standards book

I prefer the new green cover with the white window. Probably John already designed this: I suggest the WPSC logo be in the lower right box on the back cover. Good for ongoing market recognition. Sorry to bring this up late but would some words that it is the North American Standards be relevant? How...

If you 5 want no photos, I concede to your desires. BUT please give yourselves written credit at the top of the list of COLLABORATORS as Founders in the end of the book/ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.

Re: New Logo

I like the idea of individual contributors' photos spread around the inside rather than a just a few selected for the back cover. I also endorse the full summit attendee photo on the back cover as the most important demonstration of their time and energy commitment to the collaborative process. Don'...

Re: New Logo

I strongly prefer the logo on the colored window rather than a photo of one person. Readers need to know this book was a COLLABORATIVE effort by tradespeople not by a government bureaucracy. I also hope the full list of contributors is listed at the end of the book rather than individuals who contri...

Cover of Standards book

I strongly prefer the cover with the colored window and WPSC letters in it rather than a photo of one person. Then the focus in on the vast Collaborative effort of the project. Folks need to know RIGHT UP FRONT that the standards were not written and edited through some government bureaucracy by one...

List of articles about WPSC and the repair/replace debate

Word is spreading on the debate of restoration vs replacement. Here's one from Oregon newspaper. http://djcoregon.com/news/2012/05/09/contractors-contend-old-windows-should-be-preserved-not-replaced/ I found it in the Journal of Light Construction (JLC) online newsletter which has contractor and DIY...

Resource about Federal Tax Incentives for Window Replacement
