I believe that we should work toward standardized and widly accepted language and nomenclature. I am no fan of following the Secreatry of the Interior Briefs word for word, but the "Standards for Treatments" are the only nationally recognized definitions of what we actually do to windows: ...

asbestos in old putty

I have just had a question about asbestos in old putty. Has anyone else run into this? Are there any references that give clues on how to deal with this issue? Should it be mentioned in the "document"?
