Here is the new logo that will be used in the book and here at the website:

It is color-coordinated with the book cover colors.

This is the draft logo we used during the development phase of the project:

I strongly prefer the logo on the colored window rather than a photo of one person. Readers need to know this book was a COLLABORATIVE effort by tradespeople not by a government bureaucracy. I also hope the full list of contributors is listed at the end of the book rather than individuals who contributed/edited each one.

The logo has never had a person in it. I think you may be confusing the logo with the first book cover draft that did have a person in it. The the logo and the book cover are two entirely separate things.

There is a "sub theme" throughout the book that "people are as important as the windows." While this theme is never explicitly stated, it is actively demonstrated with photos of people working on windows throughout the book.

A complete list of all 89 collaborators appears in the book. A group photo of everyone at the summit is in the book.

The back cover will have a group photo from the Summit. (I guess I really should put it on the back cover, then everyone can rightly claim that they have been on the cover of a book--Cool Beans!)

I like the idea of individual contributors' photos spread around the inside rather than a just a few selected for the back cover. I also endorse the full summit attendee photo on the back cover as the most important demonstration of their time and energy commitment to the collaborative process. Don't we all like to show off our work?

Somewhere at the beginning or intro to the book should be a photo of you Founders. You guys continue to put incredible time into this project. Don't be so humble! Hardcopy book jackets have author's photos. Be proud and show yours.

Personally, I think the founders do not need special commemorative photos in the book.

If you 5 want no photos, I concede to your desires. BUT please give yourselves written credit at the top of the list of COLLABORATORS as Founders in the end of the book/ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.

I like the link between the Standards' new front cover's color and the logo's new coloration. The cover's blue background will stand out from the common, boring-white, letter-sized books. I just realized how easy the chosen size will be to copy. How and who will manage the copyright authorizations once someone has paid the $50 for one original?
