Cover of Standards book

Postby Catherine Brooks » June 26th, 2013, 10:44 am

I strongly prefer the cover with the colored window and WPSC letters in it rather than a photo of one person. Then the focus in on the vast Collaborative effort of the project. Folks need to know RIGHT UP FRONT that the standards were not written and edited through some government bureaucracy by one person in one office like federal standards seem to be.

The color photo of the red and green window is no longer available for this project. The Founders decided that an individual person could not be depicted on the cover, so that photo is no longer usable. See the ongoing development of the cover design at this discussion:

I prefer the new green cover with the white window. Probably John already designed this: I suggest the WPSC logo be in the lower right box on the back cover. Good for ongoing market recognition.

Sorry to bring this up late but would some words that it is the North American Standards be relevant? How would international searchers be able to distinguish yours from those of other nations'?
