@Typical Procedure:
an alternative to taping the glazing bar is using a 22 gauge pin nailer. With the quality exterior wood glue on the back of the glazing bar, 2 or 3 pins per munin (6/6 sash) should be enough.

I suggest that the document be subdivided at this location.

Material and product specifications, standards for quality and performance, defniitions and the like form a technical specification, while the treatments and methodologies which start on Page 15 are more of a technical manual. I don't think there's anything wrong with having them in a single document, but it's a pretty clear change in purpose, and it would be helpful for the reader if these were treated as separate sections.
