@Putty & Glazing
@ Glazing Compounds
Should we define the other types used? Some window restorers use only latex based glazing compounds either out of a can or out of a tube. Some may say there’s no place for these materials in restoring windows but if it means saving windows then I feel that it is acceptable.

Define the meaning of old growth (over 100 years) versus new growth (under 30 years)?
Common species -- cedar, Douglas Fir, mahogany, alder -- pine?

Old salvaged glass versus common window glass available most anyway versus new restoration glass from Germany -- maybe a hierarchy?
Historic windows in house museums or very old or unique structures when retaining historic material is foremost concern. Will you discuss doing epoxy repairs like used on windshields?

Allkyd oil or allkyd primer appears to be the best primer for outdoor use and only use latex primer on interior surfaces that are not subject to weather. Are there any EPA issues concerning VOCs in oil primer? Since all oil based primer is going to be phased out to my understanding, what is going to happen then?
